It is a day of mixed emotions, so this blog is titled decisions or regrets. Like many of the bodybuilders and other athletes that are posted on this blog, they all made a decision to go "all-in" with their sport and competition. There are many reasons why a person goes into bodybuilding and further into competing. Some do it just to get in shape and cross and item off their bucket list. Others have made a career out of the sport of bodybuilding, and it is with those pros that I find it interesting on how critical they can be of themselves and each other. It is in the author's point of view that bodybuilders should not have regrets about competing.
So much planning, weighing, and measuring goes into contest prep that last a minute decision could cost a win or placement. Last year, a bodybuilder decided he wanted to get into a heavier class just days prior to the competition. With little time and a rapid change in his diet, his body did not have time to properly adjust to show well in the heavier class. This decision did cost this particular person a placement in the contest. Following the contest, this bodybuilder posted a video on his YouTube page, and he was full of self pity and regret. At first the video seems as if he is trying to own his last minute decision, but it does not shine through. However, should he be filled with regret, or take it has a lesson learned?

Make a Living with an Online Blog
One could say that blogging and bloggers are everywhere these days; he has a tech blog, she has a food blog, and they work on a blog for children. One could say that many people now turn to blog as their main source for news, entertainment, and other information. Whether it is personal or not, people like to read and find out what other “regular Janes and Joes” think. Having said that, it could also be said that people have something they want to share. So how does one turn their blog into a successful adventure?
Blogging for some is just a hobby, but should the blog become popular enough, it could turn into a source of income. For others, blogging is a main source of income whether or not they are an establish writer. In either case, one should be careful when deciding whether to use ads in a blog. Ads are often used as a quick and easy way to earn some extra cash from the blog. The big problem with advertising is that it is exactly that –advertising. If readers see a blog with ads that can grab your attention away from the blog, it is highly possible they know you are attempting to earn money.
Bloggers tend to rely on keywords to help their blog earn a high ranking and show up on the first few pages of a search engine. One should be selective when choosing keywords. Of Course, blogger should go for quality over quantity. These days, search engines are becoming smarter and have the ability to analyze content. If a blog has too many keywords, it will raise a red flag and the page rank will be reduced. The placement of your keywords wisely should be done wisely. To learn more about how to improve a blog’s ranking through keywords, read up on search engine optimization techniques.
Search engine optimization techniques can help improve a blog’s readership. When a blog’s goal is to attract the greatest readership possible, it is important to ensure that the blog’s presence in search engine results for relevant subjects. Selected keywords should be used in the title and throughout the blog.
Unique content is key!
It is important to have a schedule and remain consistent. When readers know what days new content will be posted, they will be able to anticipate it. Readers will appreciate knowing what to expect and they will devour any fresh content that is provided. It is a good idea to write about diverse topics within the realm of interest. This will help provide new and interesting posts while making sure that the fresh content does not seem repetitive. Whether or not a blog is new or established, one could ask a successful blogger to write guest blogs for your site. This can increase the content’s quality and help gain recognition. If they let their readers know that they’re writing a guest post, the blog should also see an influx of traffic. The content, the heart of the blog, is a major factor to attracting return readers. A blogger should try using different kinds of media to create post. This can help make sure that the blog is also fresh and fun for the blogger.
It is important to have a plan for the blog. If one were planning to start a new business venture, they would have a set business plan. Whether or not if the blog is a business, treat the blog as though it were a business. This will help give the writer more focus and meet any goals that were set up. One should create a blog that stands out from the rest and is unique to the blogger. One main goal that a blogger and all blogs should have is to give readers a reason to visit! As always, make use of online social networks to announce new posts. If you want to get started in Blogging as a hobby or for money, check out a blogging platform that is already set up here.

Donuts
Have you ever just wanted a doughnut, a fresh warm doughnut whose tasty dough just melts in your mouth? Some may immediately say no because of their diet. Forget the diet no matter how loose or strict, sometimes I think just about everyone craves a doughnut or like pastry. I had such a craving this morning and just had to put it down in words. Then again it could be that it is a dreary “fall” morning. I have fall in quotation marks because I write this from Florida.
Presented with a selection, I’m not sure which donut I would choose. A plain donut from a perfect recipe can be just as tasty as those with the added “fruit” or cream flavors. Then there are the glaze donuts that are always tasty when they are warm and the glaze is a little bit sticky. If the crème in the Boston Cream is made just right, those too can be ever so good to savor. Lately I have been staying away from the fruit filled donuts or those with the chocolate or vanilla icing, for they seem a bit too sweet and sugary. Then again, it could just be due to the fact that I’m getting older. Oh, and how can I forget the chocolate donuts that are sometimes plain and sometimes come with a glaze. They too can be great to have and can settle both a chocolate and donut craving!
With Halloween and the holidays approaching, we’re bound to see special flavor donuts appear. They can be a welcome addition to the regular selection. The special seasonal donuts can also serve as a reminder that it is ok to splurge once and a while and perhaps this is the time of year to do it. People are happy to see them for the seasonal memories they stuff while at the same time happy to see them go. Ok, I think by writing this my craving has passed.
